First of all, a little personal note. Many of you know that my main goal is to provide the BEST service of any wedding vendor that you hire. My criteria I have for achieving this goal is: attentive and quick responses, professional demeanor, fun to be around for a full day, AND timely delivery of photos and blog posts. I dropped the ball on that last one this time. The Detrazen household (what we call our house -- using a hybrid of Alisa's last name, and mine), got a new four-legged addition. Her name is Daisy and she is cute as hell. But she came with a few urgent medical issues that slowed down my editing and blogging. SORRY! That said... Let's jump into the reason you all came here, to see some bomb ass photos of Narineh & Shant's wedding pics!
From the first time we spoke I knew that these two were hella cool, and a lot of fun. Then after the engagement photo session, it was a done deal, I was so pumped to photograph this amazing wedding, and to make new friends! Who says you can't become friends with clients? THEY ARE WRONG!
To start the day, the dream-team (Alex and I) showed up at Narineh and Shant's family homes. It is always special to be somewhere so uniquely you, and the house you grew up in is DEFINITELY that! You can tell it was packed with fun from the minute it started (with LOTS of dancing, smiles, hugs, and of course.... KISSES!).
We then sauntered to the beautiful, cozy, and just all around perfect Armenian church in Bethesda, with the cutest little chapel! What an awesome ceremony WITH CROWNS!
Last, but CERTAINLY not least, the reception. The Middleburg Barn (Fox Chase Farm) has an absolutely stunning and HUGE space while still providing the intimacy of a barn. Then you go outside and the grounds are even better. There were so many incredible portraits and portrait locations (including with Dublin the horse!) that we spent a good 40 mins with just Narineh and Shant. It was the best of times. I wish you all were there, but I hope this taste of the photos can help transport you to this amazing day! Cheers!
